I gave one star simply to leave a review. The Stat care doctor that saw my mother in the emergency department was very condescending and rude. She stated that my mother "didn't meet criteria for admission ", with a blood pressure of 236/120. We ended up staying in the emergency department over ten hours before she was admitted to the ICU. The care we received from the ER staff was excellent, and the ICU staff are amazing But the stat care doctor Stephanie Harter needs some more education on how to listen to patients, and not treat them like they are stupid. I've worked with many Stat Care doctors in my career, and have never witnessed one with a worse bedside manner. If we had let her bully us into taking my mother home, she would have continued to worsen, and most likely had a stroke. I doubt this review will make a difference. But hopefully it will at least get read.

I am being treated by Dr. Shah for a nodule in my lung. He has been following this for approximately 18 months. He has ordered several ct scans and a couple of pet scans. He also did bloodwork to check for cancer. Through this entire process he has not been in a rush to go to a surgery option. ( greatly appreciated). His care has been centered on, let's make sure if this is something to be concerned about. With staying very much on the side of caution. If I need any further pulmonary treatment in the future my FIRST choice would be Dr. Shah. I highly recommend him for anyone needing his care. He is personable, will answer any questions, explains in terms that are easily understood, takes the amount of time needed to make sure you understand.

Again, I would give 10 stars if I could. Dr. Shah is an amazing surgeon. It is scary to think of a doctor operating inside of your throat to open up a blockage in your trachea. I had surgery yesterday and feel 100% better. I am breathing so much better and walking up and down stairs without a wheeze. Thank you Dr. Shah. I would also like to commend the Stat Care staff, especially Rainey, for coordinating the pre-operation process and keeping me well informed.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I have been misdiagnosed with Asthma for 3 years. After I was referred to Dr. Swank she listened and suspected the real problem and ordered a CT to confirm it. She then referred me to Dr. Shah for surgery. Dr. Swank did every thing she could make comfortable with the process and to make things happed quickly. Today I am breathing so much better! I didn’t have time to complete my paperwork before I was called back. The nurse completed checking my vital signs & said someone one be to get me for pulmonary testing. The door barely closed before it opened again, & I was taken for testing. After testing was complete, Dr Byrd was right there to review the results & discuss my CT Scan. She is a very busy physician but is unhurried, allowing plenty of time for questions & pleasant conversation. The clearance that I needed for surgery was faxed before I left the office & Dr Byrd said she would also send a message directly to my surgeon with further details. The whole team was very efficient & never kept me waiting, but Dr Byrd is the most awesome of all!

My experience was good all around. The one negative aspect is that they apparently have an antiquated computer system. For the 2nd time, when the doctor told me she wanted to see me again at a future time (3 months ahead last time, 6 months this time), I was told that their computer can't schedule appointments that far in advance, so it was up to me to remember and call back a month or so before the next scheduled time to make the appointment.

I had to have blood drawn and Informed her that I’m a very hard stick. She acknowledged that and asked which hand do they normally use, rubbed my arm and said: it’s going to be OK, we’re in this together. First stick and she nailed it!!! This hasn’t been my prior experiences when I’ve had to have blood drawn. She is both professional and knowledgeable. Hands done she is fantastic and a pleasure to be around.

Dr. Byrd seems quite knowledgeable & is very professional. I like her fine. I know it's a process but I'm struggling & she knows. She/we are trying some new meds for a 4 mo. old issue (she wasn't involved the whole time). A couple things seem maybe a bit better but others seem worse. Shortness of breath is TERRIBLE ! Can't do anything. Been on oxygen since Thursdeay 3/30 & oxygen levels are worse( 74, 75 in am, struggling to get to 88-90, even with all breathing treatments & new inhaler it's Sun 4/2). She has done a bronchoscopy & says no cancer, no fungus. Thinks inflammation but what's causing is issue !!

I was taken back within minutes of arriving for my appointment and testing and x-rays were done shortly after that. The staff I dealt with were all very nice and polite. Today's appointment was my annual follow-up and I saw Danielle Mote, NP. She is always very nice, checks my breathing, and reviews the breathing test and x-ray results with me. I'm very happy with Dr Matthew Reichert, M.D. and the rest of the folks at StatCare keeping check on my lungs, especially since pulmonary fibrosis seems to run in my immediate family.

Your office is responsive to a patient’s needs. In my experience it is a unique occurrence that a call to the nurse line was returned the same day! Everyone from the person answering the phone, the nurse taking the patient information to set up the TeleHealth call, to the excellent NP who provided the TeleHealth appointment deserve a gold star.
